Seems like after the heat got turned up on him, Sanchez isn’t quite so proud anymore. He knows the brass is monitoring his actions closely, so some of the more polemical posts have been taken down and he’s heavily moderating comments on his blog. That’s his right, naturally. But he hasn’t stopped misrepresenting the truth. He’s still claiming that ‘leftist bloggers’ ‘outed’ him when in fact it was gay porn fans. He’s still conflating porn and leftism, which is propaganda and horseshit — plenty of leftists hate porn.

Cpl Matt Sanchez is off the hook. Republican operatives stepped in (presumably at the request of CPAC). This way no one loses face. If Sanchez had been discharged for failing to divulge his history of prostitution or propensity for homosexuality, it would have created a lot of problems for the Republican higher-ups. I hear that right after he appeared on the Signorile show he laughed off the supposed invegtigation and said that the Marines had already told him it was a done deal (meaning he would get a pass). The sad part is that so many in the military with decades longer service than Sanchez were dismissed for far less. But then again, they never had the connections.
Are you sure he’s off the hook? I heard that he’s still under investigation. I think it’s pretty hard to cover up evidence that he kept his prostitution business going as recently as 2006.
